With PPC, you are running ads directly promoting your brand to motivated sellers searching for cash buyers.
You control what the ads say, how you optimize the campaigns, and how much of your budget goes towards Search, Facebook, or YouTube.
With Pay-Per-Lead, a provider is running SEO, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads (and some search ads) as a generic cash home buyer brand.
PPL is not the same as Google Ads, but some PPL leads do come from Google Ads.
You can think about PPC as paying a mortgage versus paying rent. You may pay more, but your investment goes towards two things: 1) leads, and 2) gathering first-party data.
First-party data is valuable because it helps you optimize your own marketing with intel that is yours and only yours.
If PPC is owning a home, then PPL is renting a home. With pay-per-lead, you don't have to invest a consistent monthly budget—you only need to spend for the leads you need.
The downside is that you aren't building equity (first-party data) in your marketing, so you aren't building for the future. You're taking care of today's needs, which may be all you need.
